I was very pleased with our experience with Cadence at Huntersville. They did offer respite care and we did that and then extended it when we realized she needed more care. Unfortunately my loved one was not... I just cannot say enough wonderful things about Brookdale Weddington Park!

The residents are very friendly, and the staff is very friendly. Their 1-bedrooms and 2-bedrooms are fairly large facilities. Yes, I gave all five star ratings. Carriage Club is an amazing facility. To get the type of services they offer, one would expect it to be a "buy in" type situation.
Some nurses are nice while others are questionable. I have to wonder and ask what makes them outstanding from the other nursing homes? Most of the nurses are new grads at this location they pretty much don't know anything about patient care. Call lights could be going on for 20 minutes before someone come to answer it.

This nursing home totally ignored my mother's illness. I went to visit and one look at her told me she was in trouble. I made them call to have her transfer to the hospital. The business office lied regarding the status of my bill. This was the only letter received as no previous money requests were sent Once this extortion money is paid, this outfit will have received over $16,000 for my length of stay. I am a senior citizen living on a small amount of Social Security.
I would recommend this community to others based on... This has been an excellent choice for my 89 year old mom. She has friends and lots of activities. The staff are caring and although it is not perfect, overall the experience has been very good.

We chose Summit Place at the time because they were ready to go, they had a doctor and all resources in place to get it all done quickly. It also seemed like an organized place where my mom would do well. I would recommend to others looking.
